With so many colors to choose from, it was hard for us to settle on a color for our front door.
We could have gone with a dreamy blue.
Or a cheerful yellow.
Or even a bright yellow.
A fun blue.
We considered going with fire engine red.
Or a very glossy black.
Can you guess which color we chose?
We went with a glossy black. And now . . . I'm bored. It doesn't make me as happy as it used to. I guess we've just grown apart.
So, now I'm deciding whether it just needs some sprucing up, or if it needs to be painted in a more cheerful color. What color is your front door? Have you done anything to spruce it up lately?

I'm loving turquoise doors right now...and cabinets! If our HOA would allow us, I probably would paint it! Stopping in from SITS -- great site!
ReplyDeleteJust change the color with the seasons. Then you won't be bored:) I may go red for Christmas:)
ReplyDeleteI like the look of the black door but I also agree that changing the color each season is a pretty inexpensive to change things up!!
ReplyDeleteI know what you're saying. I always loved black doors but my current black door is boring me as well. Soooo, what's next?
ReplyDeleteI love that turquoise door - I'd love to paint my door a light gray to go with the gray walls and orange roof. Oy.
ReplyDeleteIf you want your home’s curb appeal to suggest a feeling of abundance and prosperity, consider painting your front door a beautiful blue like the fourth photo. I believe that color blue creates calm and peace for my home.
