A Very Urban Wedding

Over the weekend we attended a spectacular wedding. It was creative, urban and very personalized.  The happy couple said their "I do's" at Fort Mason Center in San Francisco.  They were actually married in an ally between 2 buildings.  Who would ever think to get married in an ally?  Well, this couple has an amazing sense of creativity and brought their creative vision to life.  The ally where the ceremony took place was softened with beautiful branches, candles and yellow paper lanterns.  Gorgeous!  Since the groom is a photographer, the reception venue was transformed into an art gallery.  The white, cement walls featured some of his best photos.  As a favor, each guest took home a framed photo taken by the groom.  Every detail was amazing . . . and, oh yeah . . . the bridal party walked down the aisle to the instrumental version of Kanye West's "Jesus Walks".  Most couple's wouldn't dare, but this couple pulled it off without a hitch. Congrats!
