New Dining Room Table Centerpiece

Well, if I wait until the finishing touches are put on our dining room, I won't post for another week or so. So, until then, I'll share a small project that I completed.

I needed a glitzy, but understated dining room table centerpiece, so I came up with a simple solution. I purchased mirror tiles at Lowes, along with some rubber bumpers for the bottoms of the tiles. (These are necessary to ensure that the tiles don't slide around or scratch your table). I ordered some awesome candle holders from CB2 and used a few tea light candle holders that I already had.

After slapping those rubber bumpers on 3 of the mirror tiles, I lined them up in the center of my table and placed my candle holders on them.

When you see our chandelier, you'll see how PERFECT our new centerpiece is for our table.
I'm hopeful for a Dining Room Reveal very soon, but until then, I'll be sharing a few of my recent projects.

  1. Oh to be able to do something like that in my own home.
Unfortunately, the kids are still too small. I would need a fire extiquisher table side.
    Looks Great!

  2. I love it! I remember once seeing something similar. It was a silver tray with a collection of different silver candle holders. I've kept that idea in my inspiration file for years, but seeing your idea, I now have an addition to the inspiration file.

  3. What a great idea. So simple, but so elegant.

Looks very romantic and you can dress it up or tone it down.

    Thanks you for visiting me.
