Halloween Already???

Yep, Halloween is just around the corner. I'm busy working on my Halloween crafts, which I will be posting about soon. Until then, enjoy these pumpkins, courtesy of Martha Stewart.

A Room That Every Girl Needs

When we first moved to our new house, we had a bedroom that we were not sure what to do with. Well, we decided (okay, I decided and my husband agreed) that the bedroom should be my dressing room. I've been working on the room for weeks now, but I'm still not finished. Here are a few photos that have served as inspiration to me.

And these final photos are from my own dressing room. You'll notice my love for apothecary jars is shown here. On my dresser I have mini jars that I use to keep jewelry in. It's just a nice way to add some sparkle to the room.

The room is still a work in progress, but is 10 times better than the way it looked when we first moved in.

Apothecary Jars

I just love apothecary jars! We used them for a candy buffet at our wedding a few years ago and now we use them in our house to hold wine corks. They can be used to hold just about anything. Take a look below for some inspiration. The first picture is from our wedding.
