We just purchased a table that we found on Craigslist. It was a beautiful table, but it needed some love. The woman who sold it to us explained that it was covered with white marks due to water damage. She didn't know how to get rid of them, so she bought a new table. "You can cover the table with a table cloth," she explained to us. Hee Hee. I knew better.
I armed myself with Restore-A-Finish and steel wool pads. Look closely at that picture, - you can see those ugly water marks. Ick!
With some gentle scrubbing action . . . Poof! Like magic, the water marks disappeared! Then, I polished my pretty table with some Orange Glo . . . .
And now, the table looks brand new!
Now, we're looking forward to hosting our first dinner party with our new dining table!
